 Jessica Steen is a Canadian actress who has appeared in television and film. Her characters include Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future. Homefront, Earth 2 Armageddon. NCIS Flashpoint, Left Behind: World at War.



 



 Personal life



 Jessica Steen was born in Toronto, Ontario, the daughter of Joanna Noyes, an actress and Jan Steen, a director and actor. She is of Dutch and Scottish descendance.



 



 Apart from her acting career, Steen is an environmentalist and animal rights activist. Steen is a supporter of David Suzuki, the World Society for the Protection of Animals and the Western Canadian Wilderness Committee. She is a qualified diver, and is skilled in a variety of circus arts including fire-twirling, stilt-walking , and fire-twirling.
